Lymm Construction is a family owned and operated business. They’ve been part of the Omaha community since 1993.
For over 30 years, we’ve been the go-to concrete and masonry contractors in Omaha, well-known for our excellent standard of work.
Our company founder, Gary, was born and raised in Omaha. He was part of Lymm Construction’s humble beginnings – when the business got started with just $650 and a shovel!
Today, Gary and his son, Zach, work together running Lymm Construction along with a crew of trustworthy employees. With over 30 years of concrete and masonry experience under their belt, Lymm Construction knows how to build lasting structures in the Omaha elements.

Frequently Asked Questions
How thick do you pour your concrete?
By law, contractors are required to pour concrete at a minimum of 4” deep. However, for maximum durability, and because we use rebar for every concrete project, we pour a minimum of 5” of concrete for every project.
Why do you use rebar for every concrete project?
Rebar provides reinforcement to your concrete, making it stronger. Concrete reinforced with rebar lasts much longer than concrete mixed with alternative reinforcers like fiberglass or wire mesh.
Because we’ve been doing concrete work in Omaha for over 30 years, we’ve seen the effects of lesser-quality work that’s not reinforced with rebar. We’ve even done tear-out jobs on concrete that’s less than ten years old because it wasn’t poured to last!
At Lymm Construction, we’re committed to excellence when pouring your concrete. When done well, your concrete should last a MINIMUM of 40 years.
What do you use for a sub-base?
On each project, we use recycled concrete or crushed rock to ensure a reliable foundation. We compact all rock and soil before pouring your concrete.
When will I be able to drive on my new concrete driveway?
You’ll be able to drive on your new concrete driveway 7 days after the concrete is poured. This will ensure that it’s strong enough to withstand the weight of your vehicle.
Do I need to seal my new concrete driveway?
Installing a sealant or salt preventer is optional, but it can extend the life of your driveway. A sealant will help preserve the work that our concrete crew has completed, giving you a high-quality driveway for longer.
